Perisai Amanah — pension legal services in Kuala Lumpur

Our Company

A practice built on patience, respect, and careful legal work

Perisai Amanah was founded to fill a quiet gap — a place where Malaysians dealing with pension matters could find sound legal support without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

Our Story

How Perisai Amanah came to be

Perisai Amanah began with a straightforward observation: many Malaysians, upon receiving formal correspondence from pension funds or government bodies, had nowhere calm and accessible to turn. The documents were dense, the processes were unfamiliar, and the stakes felt high. People needed someone to sit with them, not lecture them.

Founded in Kuala Lumpur by a small group of legal practitioners with backgrounds in employment, civil, and administrative law, we built our practice around a single idea: that legal support for pension matters should feel like a steady hand on the shoulder rather than a briefcase opened across a polished desk.

Over the years, we have helped clients work through a wide variety of pension questions — from straightforward document reviews to formal hearings before administrative bodies. Each matter is handled individually, because each person's situation is genuinely different.

Our Mission

What we are here to do

Our mission is to make pension-related legal processes accessible, understandable, and manageable for the people who need them most. Pension matters often arise at a time when someone is already under pressure — dealing with retirement, a change in circumstances, or a decision they did not expect and do not fully understand.

We believe that good legal assistance in this context means slowing down, explaining carefully, and moving forward only when the person in front of us is ready. We do not measure success by the number of cases closed but by whether our clients left each interaction feeling more settled than when they arrived.

Pension legal services in Kuala Lumpur, handled with care

Pension matters in Malaysia sit at the intersection of employment law, administrative law, and the specific statutory frameworks governing funds such as the Employees Provident Fund and the public-sector pension scheme administered under the Pensions Act 1980. Understanding which framework applies to a client's situation — and what rights and remedies flow from it — requires both legal knowledge and an ability to explain complex positions in ways that feel human rather than technical.

At Perisai Amanah, we have built our practice specifically around this need. We work with clients who have received decisions they do not fully understand, who need someone to communicate with pension authorities on their behalf, or who face formal proceedings and want dependable support at their side. Our office at Wisma UOA in central Kuala Lumpur is accessible and welcoming, and we are also able to assist clients who prefer to communicate by phone or correspondence rather than meeting in person.

We serve clients across a range of circumstances — those approaching or in retirement, those dealing with the consequences of an employment change, and family members assisting an elderly relative through an unfamiliar process. Whatever the background, we approach each matter with the same measured attention and the same commitment to plain, honest communication.
